Gravel Driveways using Porous Pavers
Gravel driveways and parking areas at home are commonly constructed using gravel as it is free-draining, attractive and cost-effective to construct. The drawback from gravel, is that it is easily displaced by car tyres. Ultimate One Ltd, supply innovative recycled plastic porous paving grids that solve this issue. Interlocking plastic SuDS permeable paving grids create a strong interlock between the gravel and retains it within the porous pavers cells.

The result is a gravel driveway, that remains flat, provides over 200t/m² of load bearing capacity (capable of everyday car and van use). Gravel driveways that a constructed with recycled porous plastic pavers should be installed onto a free-draining angular stone sub-base which provides the ground stabilisation and the ability for stormwater / rainwater to permeate directly into the ground at source.
- Permeable gravel driveway stabilisation
- Sustainable urban Drainage surface (SuDS)
- Porous pavers are quick and easy to install
- Permeable gravel paving grids retain gravel in place
