High quality, thick wire hot-dipped galvanised welded wire mesh panel. This mesh sheet measures 8ft x 4ft (2.44m x 1.22m). The wire thickness is 4mm (8swg gauge) and the mesh aperture is 1” x1” (25mm x 25mm).
This thick, heavy-weight mesh sheet is therefore suitable for sturdy security cages, gabions, security mesh, machine guards in factories and warehouses, window grills and many applications in construction. The mesh is also rigid and therefore is ideal for pond covers to protect valuable fish from bird attacks and falling leaves.
These welded wire mesh panels are manufactured in the UK from high quality steel wire and welded to form the 25mm square mesh holes. The panels are then hot-dipped galvanised which is a process which totally encapsulates the steel and the welded joins in a layer of rust-resistant zinc which means these panels will not rust in external, internal and marine environments.
Heavy duty galvanised mesh panel applications:
-
Industrial trailer mesh
-
Permanent outdoor use due to the hot-dipped galvanised protective coating
-
Security mesh cages
-
Machinery protection areas and factory "safe zones"
-
Bird cages, aviaries and animal enclosures
-
Dog fencings and kennels
-
Ideal for protecting ponds from falling leaves and debris

Heavy duty 8ft x 4ft welded wire mesh panels are supplied as rigid flat sheets and can be easily installed as fencing by U-nailing to timber posts, or fixed to cage frames. The galvanized steel mesh can be cut easily using an angle grinder. Heavy duty 8ft x 4ft welded wire mesh panels are supplied as rigid flat sheets. The galvanised coating is of high quality and generally smooth, but there may be some areas where the they can be a little rough.
Please note all sizes of panel, mesh aperture and wire gauge are nominal and may vary slightly to what is stated due to manufacturing tolerances.
