L20/145/15 stock fencing is a cost-effective agricultural fencing for livestock including lambs, pigs, cattle and horses. At 1.45 metres high, the galvanised steel stock fence is an ideal deer fence. The mesh has 20  horizontal wires with 9 x small 50mm apertures at the base and 10 x 100mm apertures for the top 100cm making it ideal to stop small browsing animals such has rabbits, hare, foxes getting through at the base.

The 145cm high galvanised steel mesh can be fixed to timber posts with a tensioned line wire top and bottom, or u-nailed to timber post and rail fencing to make a secure field fence or paddock.  The mesh is manufactured from 2.5mm top and bottom wires and 2mm intermediate and vertical stay wires. The mesh aperture is 15cm (between vertical wires). To protect from rust, the steel mesh is heavily galvanised which coats the steel wire netting with a layer of zinc. The mesh structure is produced with a hinge joint knot.  Designed to ensure that livestock is not able to get through.

L20/145/15 is installed by nailing to wooden posts of a suitable thickness and height. Anchor posts and corner posts should be extra thick and used to tension the fencing by straining tensioning line wire. The L20/145/15 stock fence should be connected to the fencing line wire using hog ring clips. A galvanised tensioned line wire keeps the fencing taut, strained and under tension which stops the fence from sagging or being damaged by animal impacts - we recommend a line wire at the top, middle and bottom of thsi size of fence. Where livestock are likely to push downwards on the top of the fence or the line wire, then barbed wire should also be installed. The mesh can also be stapled to post and rail fencing.
